The Pikachu World Collection consists of nine cards that exclusively showcase Pikachu, each printed in a different language. The Pikachu World Collection reflected this idea by creating Pikachu cards in nine different languages: English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean. The Pikachu cards included reprints from earlier sets, such as Base Set Pikachu, Jungle Pikachu, and seven additional Black Star Promo Pikachu cards. The reprints of the World Collection feature a gold foil stamp resembling a Pikachu tail, located in the lower-left corner outside the illustration box.
